Both main event participants made weight for their WEC 45 matchup tomorrow.
Combatants Donald Cerrone and Ed Ratcliff each checked in at 155 pounds for the lightweight clash.
Afterward, Ratcliff predicted a knockout while Cerrone responded saying, "I'm going to be there the whole time. Speed kills."
Two fighters -- lightweight Anthony Njokuani (157) and bantamweight Takeya Mizugaki (137) missed weight. Both men will have an additional hour to lose one pound.
Other featured fights include a pair of bantamweight affairs: Joseph Benavidez (10-1) hoping to bounce back from his first loss against jiu-jitsu wiz Rani Yahya (15-4) and Mizugaki (12-3-2) vs. Scott Jorgensen (10-3). In addition, Canadian striker Chris Horodecki (13-1) makes his WEC debut against Njokuani (11-2).
The event takes place at The Pearl at The Palms Casino in Las Vegas.
