LAS VEGAS -- Josh Koscheck proved that he is definitely a force to be reckoned in the UFC's welterweight division after overcoming an early illegal knee to the head and eye poke to submit Anthony Johnson in the second round at UFC 106.FanHouse spoke to Koscheck at the post-fight press conference about getting past the early controversy and his issue with Dan Hardy getting a welterweight title shot before him. The video interview is below.

The knee missed Koscheck's face, hit his arm. Nothing poked his eye. They showed the replay about 10 times. He's just a big baby that I hope Hardy destroys.
your retarded, the knee rubbed his arm and went straight at the right side of his head, then got a minor poke (if that) at one of his eyes. Either way he won and wll destroy Hardy
good to see koscheck make johnson give up - johnson was getting dominated and looked to give some phantom taps to get another unfair advantage. i like seeing johnson, whos never given a clean fight, get worked. way to go koscheck, you made him quit.
Koscheck is a douche did you see those intentional eye-pokes by him? What a loser and a faker
So much for my bold prediction. A good fight, aside from all the eye pokes.
i picked koscheck because he's the beeter (much better) wrestler. i didnt see a submission, i thought he'd ground and pound him. koscheck has really improved his submissions, but johnson was giving up. it almost looked like he gave up his back on purpose.
You know what Rich, I never discounted the difference Koscheck's wrestling would've made in this fight. He almost pulled off a successful kimura attempt on GSP back in 07(?). Johnson is a really big dude too, so maybe the cut might have affected his conditionin a bit. I think his cardio played against him in his fight with Rich Clementi if I'm not mistaken. On the other hand, we haven't seen Johnson on ground very often either. I'm also wondering if maybe the pokes messed him up a little.
i'd bet they did, i'd also be surprised if they wernt on purpose, consciously or otherwise.
if koscheck gets ahold of ya, you're going for a ride. the guy has great takedowns, mostly due to the speed with which he can hit them (the takedown). koscheck has very quick footwork getting inside. thats hard to stop.
Koscheck is an awesome wrestler. To be honest, I thought he did good against Anthony in on the feet too. He could very well be on his way to becoming one of the most well rounded figures. The pokes didn't seem intentional and sure as hell hope they weren't. Bad enough Johnson had to have surgery because of an eye poke from Kevin Burns.
Kos is one of my favorite fighters(I didn't watch that season of The Ultimate Fighter that gave him a bad name) I hope the eye pokes were unintentional because that could end a persons career and change there life forever. YOU GOTSTA BE MO CAREFUL KOS & ALL OTHERS
koschek poked people in the eye when he was on tuf??? maybe that's why johnson did it to him then... retribution
The poke was before the knee
