The outlook is bright for the health and fight career of Brock Lesnar, according to his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu coach, Rodrigo "Comprido" Medeiros. So bright that the seven-time world Jiu-Jitsu champ, whom Lesnar brought into his camp following his UFC debut loss to Frank Mir, is saying that the UFC heavyweight champion could be back in the Octagon by summer time.
"[Lesnar] is getting better and that is the most important thing ... He will be fine and be fighting again within six months," Medeiros said in a report on TMZ.
Lesnar was released from the hospital on Tuesday and is currently recovering from surgery at home until he is further examined next week at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester.
UFC president Dana White had said Lesnar's career was in jeopardy due to a bacterial infection in his intestine.
Medeiros sounded more hopeful for Lesnar, telling TMZ, "I can just say that the heavyweights can stop laughing and get ready to start crying because the champion will be back soon."

Look out boys here he comes and the HW's are gonna get hurt!! Brock has been fighting this for a year, so just think how he destroyed Randy and Frank and was far from 100%....Now that is scary!! I will not buy another pay per view till Brock is back
I am glad he is better and will be returning. I am no Lesnar fan but wish his the best. I highly doubt the other heavyweights are ready to start crying thou. I imagine carwin is glad he is ok so he can get his chance to win the title.
nothing like putting some pressure on the guy. i dont want to see him fight til he's 100%. if hes dropped 20- 30 lbs of muscle its going to make a huge difference in his game.
Oh no!! Brocks fighting career is over!! Oh no!! Brock lesnar may die!! Oh no!!!!
Dana you're such a weasle I knew it as soon as you blew it up as life threatening that you were just selling a 'life threatening comeback' fight. I can't stand his dirty tricks. Pos marketing tactics. Its not business to lie and blow it up as life threatening and 'i can't tell you what it is. But I know what it is. But I can't tell you. But he may die.'
EVERYONE WAS SO OH MY GOD BROCK MAY DIE AHHH!!!
PEOPLE DANA IS JUST WORKING YOU GUYS TO BUILD UP THE HYPE FOR HIS F'IN BUSINESS. DON'T BUY UFC PPV'S ANYMORE. STICK IT TO THAT POS. SAVE UR MONEY!! ITS THE HOLIDAY SEASON. SPEND THE $50 ON SOMEONE WHO IS IMPORTANT IN UR LIFE. NOT DANAS BANK ACCOUNT!!
Agreed. White is the only jacka$$ running around preaching doom and gloom about the roid monsters career. This guys act is so f'ing old. No wonder the UFC can't go mainstream because networks don't want to deal with this idiot and how he conducts himself and his business. Anyone that's gonna drop money on the Ortiz Griffin fight is just an idiot anyways to watch a garbage fight like that between those two clowns.
THere is no need to pay for PPV go to DAVE AND BUSTERS AND watch it for free along with that you can have fun meet new friends.
i dont think so pip. the rumor in mma circles was h1n1, no one really knew what was wrong. unwelcome things that live in your body can cause big problems. this wasnt about publicity - the guy was going down fast.
It was total publicity to get White in front of the cameras because he knew it would make news. White was the only one saying all that crap. Funny how it goes from White saying he may never fight again and hes in the fight of his life to Lesnars trainer saying he will be ready to fight in 6 months. Same old bs from White. All show and no go.
I'm glad he's going to be ok. I don't particularly like his antics, but who doesn't want to see him in the cage? Lesnar vs Carwin, Lesnar vs Dos Santos ... gives me chills just think about it.
I hope that Carwin doesn't sit around and wait on Lesnar. Carwin will be 35 soon ... he shouldn't waste his prime. What if Lesnar's problem persists or something else happens to him?
