LAS VEGAS -- Come Saturday night, Forrest Griffin will have an opportunity to answer a lot of questions: can he rebound mentally and physically from his recent loss to Anderson Silva at UFC 101? Is he still a major player in the UFC's light heavyweight division? And three and a half years later, can he prove that he deserved to be declared the winner when he fought Tito Ortiz in their first meeting in April 2006.FanHouse spoke to Griffin at Wednesday's UFC 106 media workouts about all these questions and more. The video interview is below.

He seems like he's grown a lot and appears to be really centered. He'll definitely win this fight.
I think what Forrest fails to realize is that like me, most of his hard-core fanbase knows why he lost-Silva was in his head (if you've read his book you'd know why) We know why he ran out of the cage- He's an extremely emotional fighter and puts a ton of pressure on himself. The thing we don't understand is why he gave up. He could have stood back up on that last shot he took but he didn't want to. That goes against everything we thought he stood for. He probably would still have lost but he hadn't lost at that point. He was far from out. He could have stood up and tried something different and gotten truly KO'd or submitted and then his fans would have said "well he ran out of the ring because he had an emotional loss, but at least he gave it his all." But there was no way to say that after that fight. It caused us to question what he stands for. And I HATE that for my favorite fighter. I want to know that win or lose he will always go balls out-and up to that point we could certainly say that about him. I hope he beats Tito. I always hope Tito loses-I can't stand Tito. But more importantly I hope the old Forrest is back and it seems that he might be. GOOD LUCK FORREST!
he was ko'd mentally and gave up because he realized there was no way for him to win the fight.
Go Tito!
I'm bettin Tito winz this fight...but Forrest seemed very composed in this vid...and wazn't acting so juvenile. Guess getting DESTROYED by the Spider humbled him a bit.
