LAS VEGAS -- The long-rumored Strikeforce bout between Mike Whitehead and "King" Muhammed Lawal has yet to be made official, but all signs are pointing to it happening on the Dec. 19 card. In fact, Lawal has already begun trash-talking, as he recently compared Whitehead to a pimple. FanHouse spoke to Whitehead at the Wand Fight Team Gym in Las Vegas on Tuesday about the potential match-up, why it will be contested at heavyweight, and his thoughts on Lawal's eccentric persona. Should be a great fight and a great test for King Mo.
i havent seen enough of mo to know, but i do think whitehead is for real. this should be a real step up for Lawal.
