CHICAGO -- Kelly Kahl, the senior executive vice president of CBS prime time, is the man largely responsible for bringing mixed martial arts to network television. And while the sport's first run on the channel didn't go as planned, Kahl sounds confident that MMA has a bright future on CBS.

FanHouse spoke to Kahl at the Strikeforce pre-fight press conference on Thursday about the promotion for this event, the future of the sport on CBS, and his past dealings with UFC president Dana White.
