UFC 105 Video: Brandon Vera Says He's in the Best Shape of His Career

As he prepares to fight Randy Couture on November 14 at UFC 105, Brandon Vera says he's in the best shape of his career.
"My coaches are saying, 'You've got one more round.' My body's like, 'No, three more. Let's do three more before we call it a day,'" Vera says. "I don't know why it's happening, but I'm just riding with it."
No one denies that Vera is extremely talented, but there have been times when I've thought he looked like his preparation was less than stellar. I interviewed Vera on Monday, and he sounded like fighting Couture in what will surely be the most-watched fight of his career has motivated him to prepare like never before.
"He's going to bring out every ounce of what I've got," Vera says. "You're going to see everything on November 14."

If Brandon comes out of his shell and opens up with his strikes, he will beat Couture easily. Brandon has a HUGE speed and technique advantage when it comes to striking in this fight.
I'm predicting Vera by KO in 2.
i'm really not sure vera is going to be able to keep distance in this fight. If randy gets ahold of him this fight goes to the ground where randy should win.

Vera's stand up is good. He's also has considerable bjj skills too. I have feeling this fight could go either way, but I hope Randy wins.
