Coming off a flying knee TKO win at a local XFO show last Saturday, WEC lightweight Bart Palaszewski will be back with the promotion at WEC 45 targeted for Dec. 19, FanHouse has learned.
Palaszewski (30-13) had dropped two straight in the WEC against Ricardo Lamas and Anthony Njokuani earlier this year and was allowed to take a fight outside the organization over the weekend to build some momentum before returning to the WEC stage.
Palaszewski took on Tyler Combs at XFO 32 in New Munster, Wis. on Saturday and cue to around the 9:20 mark in the above video to see him launch a flying knee to drop his opponent for the ground and pound finish.
The WEC has not yet announced any details for WEC 45. The event was supposed to be headlined by lightweight champion Jamie Varner taking on interim titleholder Ben Henderson to unify the belts but that fight has been pushed back at least a month.

I enjoyed watching Bart in the IFL days ... he's an exciting banger.
Speaking of the IFL, I'm surprised that no one has picked up Chris Horodecki?? I know he was injured and missed an Affliction fight, be he's back healthy now with a record of 15-1.
