Sep 28, 2009 - Rolles Gracie Jr. improved to 3-0 Saturday, defeating K-1 and Sengoku veteran Peter Graham at Art of War 14 in Macao, China.
Rolles is the cousin of Renzo Gracie and first fought MMA in September 2007 for the IFL, submitting Sam Hollaway with a rear-naked choke. He returned this past May with Art of War and used the same finishing hold against Red Devil Sports Club's Baga Agaev. On Saturday, Gracie took down Graham and advanced to side control to complete the arm-triangle choke at 1:43 of the first round.
Graham, who has over 60 kickboxing fights under his belt and was the winner of the K-1 GP 2003 in Australia, has not gained comfortability on the ground. He's now been tapped out with chokes in all three of his professional MMA fights.
Other notable fighters on the Art of War 14 card include The Ultimate Fighter 5 contestant Andy Wang fighting Atsuhiro Tsuboi to a draw and Sengoku veteran Michael Costa also drawing against up-and-comer Simeon Thoresen out of Joachim Hansen's camp in Norway.
