The competitors for Sengoku 10 weighed-in Tuesday to make official their respective bouts happening Wednesday at the Saitama Super Arena in Tokyo, Japan.
In the main event, 2004 Olympic judo silver medalist Hiroshi Izumi will make his MMA debut against kickboxer Antz Nansen in a light heavyweight bout.
Former EliteXC heavyweight champ Antonio Silva will fight "Big" Jim York in a match that should set the winner up in a title bout at Sengoku's New Year's event.
Keep an eye on Midwesterner Dan Hornbuckle, who at the last Sengoku event knocked out Akihiro Gono with a brutal head kick. Fighting for Sengoku, he accepts another step up in competition against Nick "The Goat" Thompson.
The final IFL lightweight champion Ryan Schultz will look to end back-to-back losses when he faces Kazunori Yokota. The Team Quest fighter dominated the IFL 155-pound division 2007 through 2008 but has been stopped in his two Sengoku bouts against Mizuto Hirota and Jorge Masvidal.
