UFC Fight Night 19 Salaries: Nate Quarry Leads With $60,000

Nate Quarry

Nine-time UFC competitor Nate Quarry was the top earner with $60,000 at last Wednesday's UFC Fight Night 19 in Oklahoma City, Okla, according to the disclosed salaries Oklahoma athletic commission provided Monday to FanHouse.

Next were main event winner Nate Diaz and former WEC welterweight champion Carlos Condit, who both pocketed $48,000 ($24,000 to show plus another $24,000 for the win).

In Roger Huerta's final fight under his UFC contract, the aspiring actor collected $21,000 in a losing effort against Gray Maynard, who earned $24,000 ($12,000 to show plus a $12,000 for the win).

The UFC took good care of lightweights Phillipe Nover and Sam Stout, who both collected their show money and respective bonus despite their fight being canceled due to Nover suffering an apparent seizure hours before the fight.

According to the Cox Business Services Convention Center, the total number of tickets available were 9,490 with 2,803 given away and 6,687 sold. The total gate receipts were $577,966.72.

In addition to the salaries, $30,000 bonuses were awarded each to Quarry, Tim Credeur for Fight of the Night, Jeremy Stephens for Knockout of the Night and Diaz for Submission of the Night.

In medical suspensions, Justin Buchholz (TKO loss), CB Dollaway (cuts) and Diaz (cuts) have been suspended until Oct. 17. Condit and Brian Stann were suspended due to cuts until Sept. 30 and Oct. 14, respectively.

As always, these are the disclosed paydays the UFC reported to the athletic commission and does not necessarily represent a fighter's final earnings.
