On this week's edition of The MMA Hour, MDS and I spoke to UFC light heavyweight Krzysztof Soszynski about his upcoming fight against Brandon Vera at UFC 102 on August 29. We were also joined by FanHouse's Ray Hui to look back at Strikeforce: Carano vs. Cyborg and to discuss what that event meant for women's MMA and Strikeforce. Check out the show below.

If it was an early stoppage Carano would have got up. She knew she was beaten and she stayed on the mat. Game over
Definitely not an early stoppage ... Carano was laying on her side and had no intention of continuing.
Carano was intimidated before and during the fight. I see no reason for a rematch. I wouldn't be suprised to see Carano step away from fighting and persue other aspects of her career.
i'm not so sure she is stepping away just yet.
however, if she loses again she will.
i've been saying i think cung le is finished as an mma guy, i really don't see him fighting again and if he does it will definately be his last.
i think le is totally overrated. yeah he beat shamwow, but, diaz destroyed shamwow.
speaking of diaz, any news on what the real deal on what really happened with him and what's next for him.
oh and thanks for your conversation on mariusz, being 32 is alot different than 36.
