Caol Uno vs. Spencer Fisher:
Uno is making his way to the Octagon. Uno is in the Octagon. Fisher is making his way to the Octagon. Fisher is in the Octagon.
Round 1: This fight is underway. Fisher lands a leg kick. Uno shoots in and Fisher sprawls. Fisher is landing some knees to Uno's shoulder. They're clinching against the cage, kneeing each other. A bit of a slow start to the fight. They separate and go back to the middle of the Octagon, still not a lot of action but Fisher is throwing a few more punches and is probably ahead so far in Round 1. Nice leg kick from Fisher. Nice right hand from Fisher. Uno tries to take the fight to the ground but Fisher sprawls and ends up landing a couple of knees. Uno lands an uppercut. The crowd is really starting to boo at the end of the round, a round I give to Fisher, 10-9.
Round 2: Fisher lands an inside leg kick and then Uno gets the single-leg takedown. Uno wanted a guillotine but Fisher gets back to his feet. Uno tried a lazy front kick that Fisher caught. Now Uno goes for the shoot and Fisher sprawls again. Fisher lands a good leg kick. Now Uno answers with a couple leg kicks of his own and then a shot and another sprawl from Fisher. Now Fisher pulls Uno into his guard on the ground. Now they're back to their feet. Fisher lands a knee and Uno holds onto him. They trade punches on their feet. Fisher goes to the ground on top of Uno, in his guard. A close round that I give to Fisher, 10-9.
Round 3: Uno goes inside for a takedown again and again Fisher stuffs it. Big left hand from Fisher. The German fans are whistling because they don't like the lack of action. It hasn't been a bad fight but it hasn't been a particularly exciting one, either. Ref Mario Yamasaki separates them. Uno goes down briefly, Fisher tries a couple of kicks but then gets him stood up. Now they're back to the ground with Fisher on top, and this might be Uno's last chance to do something. Fisher lands one more knee against the fence, and with a minute left Uno is just about out of options. Uno finally gets on top of Fisher and lands a couple of strikes. Uno lands a couple of elbows and now he's hurting Fisher. Thirty seconds left. Uno is landing punches with a vicious ground and pound, and Fisher is just hanging on. Uno wins the third, 10-9.
Spencer Fisher beats Caol Uno by unanimous decision.
