Mirko Cro Cop leaves UFC for DREAM

Mirko Cro Cop had made it clear his intention to compete for UFC gold, but it appears he might not a even be welcome back to the UFC.

Yahoo! Sports is reporting that Cro Cop has signed a three-fight deal with DREAM.

"He didn't keep his word," UFC president White is quoted as saying in the report.

That strangely conflicts what Cro Cop said earlier this week that "this is definitely not the last fight in the UFC for me."

And in his post-fight interview with UFC.com, Cro Cop mentions Randy Couture and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira as opponents he would like to face.

"I don't know what will happen next," Cro Cop said. "Believe me I don't know. The only thing I know is tomorrow I'm going home and then I go on a holiday -- one week -- on the coast, and that's all I know so far. But there are definitely a few fighters I want to fight. I will speak to Dana White definitely after this fight. Nogueira, Randy. They are top projects for me right now but we will see after I speak to Dana."

While Cro Cop did not make a splash against Mostapha Al-Turk at UFC 99, he displayed shades of his old dangerous self with a first-round TKO win.
