WVR had a press conference today and announced 4 fights in Sengoku.9 on August 2. The lightweight champion Satoru Kitaoka fights against a challenger Mizuto Hirota. Hirota is the 2nd Cage Force lightweight champion and won over Katsuya Inoue, who defeated Kitaoka 3 times in Pancrase. Kazuo Misaki and Kazuhiro Nakamura fight to get an opportunity to challenge the middleweight champion, Jorge Santiago. The match-ups of the Featherweight GP final round was also announced. The winners of Hatsu Hioki vs. Masanori Kanehara and Michihiro Omigawa vs. Marlon Sandro fight to decide the first Sengoku Featherweight champion on the same day.
