Early Leader for Year's Best Submission

The up-and-coming Bellator MMA promotion had its fifth event on Friday night, and one of the fights ended with what might be the best submission of the year, when Toby Imada used an amazing inverse triangle to choke out Jorge Masvidal. Video below.

I've heard of the inverted triangle being used to score a submission victory before -- Peter Sobotta used it to beat Dominik Stetefeld in a fight in Germany last year --but it's extremely rare. Kudos to Imada for a sweet submission. He'll now take on Top 10 lightweight Eddie Alvarez in the Bellator lightweight tournament final.
