Dream announced the open weight tournament

Dream announced Thursday that the open weight tournament "Super Hulk Tournament" starts at Dream.9. This tournament is not a GP but a tournament. The winner of the tournament gets neither a belt nor prize.

Dream Event Producer Keiichi Sasahara said, "We decided to hold this tournament because we wanted to be recognized in many people. I'm well aware that core MMA fans will criticize us for holding this, yet we have to do this to grab non-MMA fans attention and survive. Since we reduce the ticket price, I hope the tickets are sold out, and we get the decent viewer's rate."

As for the rules, special rules such as no knee kicking in the 4-point position will be applied for this tournament.
