Lineup for Carlos Newton-headlined W1 'Inception'

Former UFC welterweight champ Carlos "The Ronin" Newton returns from a 17-month hiatus on Saturday, March 28 at W1 "Inception" in Quebec, Canada.

"I have been away from MMA for some time now and I couldn't be more excited to be back," Newton said last month. "It only seems right to make my return in my home country and with a great organization like W1."

Newton (13-13), who last fought in a losing effort against Shungo Oyama at K-1 Hero's in October 2007, will take on Nabil Khatib (8-4) out of Team Bushido in Ottawa. Khatib is coming off losses to MFC posterboy Ryan Ford and BodogFight veteran Dan Hornbuckle at Raw Combat events. Khatib's last win was a unanimous decision a year ago against "The Ultimate Fighter 4" contestant Gideon Ray.
