Randy Couture: I'd Love to Fight Mirko Cro Cop at UFC 99

We noted Thursday that UFC 99 could be a good fight card, but based on what Randy Couture says in the above video about a possible fight with Mirko Cro Cop Filipovic, it could be a great fight card.

Couture said there's a "possibility" that he could fight at UFC 99 in Germany, adding, "I'm working on a movie in March, April and May. It depends on when I finish the movie. If I can get a full camp in before the Germany fight, I would love to fight Cro Cop. He's a huge star in Germany."

Couture-Cro Cop is the fight MMA fans thought they were going to get in 2007, before Gabriel Gonzaga upset Cro Cop to earn the right to challenge for Couture's UFC heavyweight title. Although Couture-Cro Cop doesn't have the luster it would have had two years ago, it's still a fight a lot of fans would love to see.

If a fight with Cro Cop doesn't happen, Couture indicated that he'd like to get a rematch with Brock Lesnar. That's a fight that plenty of fans would love to see, too. Couture may never get another heavyweight title shot, but he's still got some interesting fights left in him.
