Fedor vs. Arlovski Video: Lights Out for 'The Pitbull'

With a single blow to the chin of Andrei Arlovski, we were reminded exactly why Fedor Emelianenko is perhaps the most feared star in all of MMA. Arlovski had backed Fedor up in the corner with a kick in the first round. But when he got a little too aggressive and seemed to attempt a flying knee, he was absolutely drilled by an overhead right (video after the jump).



The fight was stopped immediately by referee Big John McCarthy, and all Arlovski could do is look on with disbelief after he came to his senses. If you turned away from the TV, you probably missed Fedor's statement punch.

While the commentators went a bit overboard and started throwing out Fedor's name among the dominant ranks of Tiger and Federer, there's no doubt that you have to bump Fedor up a peg, even if you're one of the fans that believe Anderson Silva is a greater pound-for-pound fighter.
