The latest installment of Dana White's UFC 93 video blog shows the president of the Ultimate Fighting Championship talking about the public reaction when he said he could bench press 300 pounds.
"In my Men's Fitness article I said, 'Me and my buddy work out, the vice president of the company, we work out every day, our goal was to bench 300, and now I bench 300,'" White recalls. "The f**king internets went crazy: 'That fat f**k can't bench 300. There's no way. Lying mother f**ker.'"
And yes, as we've documented before, White can, in fact, bench 315.
In other items from the video blog, White meets up with Marcus Davis at a mall in Ireland and tells him that Kevin Iole considers the Davis-Chris Lytle fight to be the best fight on the UFC 93 card. And White drops in on Rich Franklin in his hotel room to get an autograph on a shirt for a fan.

I don't understand what is so surprising about Dana being able to Bench 300 pounds. This is not exactly some superhuman acheivment or something. It is not unusual for people that work out regularly for a while to bench twice their bodyweight. However as a side note if a person rarely if ever works out regardless of their size then they are not going to just walk in a gym one day and lift that much weight, maybe people thought that dana never worked out or something, whatever, this issue doesn't make much sense to me.
