Freddie Roach: Andrei Arlovski Will Beat Fedor Emelianenko on His Feet

Andrei Arlovski is back with the second part of Arlovski 360, the video series he's using to hype his fight with Fedor Emelianenko at Affliction: Day of Reckoning:

The most interesting comments come from Arlovski's boxing trainer, Freddie Roach, who talks about how he's teaching Arlovski to be an even better striker.

"If you back up with Fedor and he gets you off balance, it could be a short night. He's very aggressive, very dangerous," Roach said. "So we're working on keeping our balance and staying on cue at all times and backing Fedor up, because he can't fight going backwards. ... It's a team effort and I'm happy to be on the boxing side of it, and I think that's where he's going to win the fight,standing up."

Although I'm picking Fedor to win, I agree with Roach: If Arlovski is going to pull the upset, he's going to do it on his feet, and he's going to do it by showing superior boxing skills. It's a tall order, but if there's anyone in MMA who can out-box Fedor, it's Arlovski.
