Fedor Emelianenko is the best heavyweight in MMA and the best fighter who's not under contract to the UFC. Brock Lesnar is the new heavyweight champion of the UFC and the sport's most marketable star. So is there any chance they'll ever fight each other?

"God, I hope so," said UFC President Dana White in our FanHouse live chat today. "That's not up to me. I can only try so much. There's only so much I can do."

According to White, it's a simple matter of Fedor and his representatives not wanting to fight in the UFC. Fedor's people have always said the UFC's fighter contracts are too restrictive.
