Bobby Lashley, the former WWE pro wrestling star, won his first professional mixed martial arts fight on Saturday night. He needed just 41 seconds to score a TKO win over a guy named Joshua Franklin, who was also making his pro MMA debut and was chosen just to give Lashley an easy first opponent. Lashley is under contract to the American Fight League, but last night he was fighting for an organization called the Mixed Fighting Alliance. The show took place at American Airlines Arena in Miami.
In the Mixed Fighting Alliance's main event, Jeff Monson defeated Ricco Rodriguez by decision.

1-0 Bobby Lashley!!! Way to GO BIG BOB!!!!!
That guys lucky they stopped it. First time I've seen Bobby throw a punch. Guess he didn't have to at Valley. We had the Conway Apt. respect!!
When Bobby Lashley was in pro wrestling he was the genuine article. Now in M.M.A. he is the genuine article. I had an inpromptu meeting with him several months back. I have never met a nicer, more genuine, soft spoken, gentleman.
When he's in the ring you are now in his office. Fighting is his business. For Mr. Bobby Lashley business is good!
JIm Wilmer.
All I remember from valley about Bobby Lashley is soft spokeness and just nice. Testosterone is not an issue when you already know who would win at anything physical. Good Luck Bobby I'm sure I'll see a belt on you soon in the MMA!
