When Will Gina Carano Fight Again? 'I Have No Clue, I Have No Idea'

Gina Carano is the most famous female fighter in mixed martial arts, but after EliteXC went belly-up, fans were left wondering when they'd see her in the cage again.

As it turns out, Carano is wondering as well.

In an interview with Ariel Helwani of MMA Rated, Carano was asked when she would fight again and answered, "I have no clue, man. ... I have no idea."

The reason she can't commit to a time, place or opponent for her next fight? "I still have contractual issues with EliteXC," she said.

So while Carano said she's open to fighting with either the WEC or Strikeforce, for now she's left waiting and wondering when her contractual issues will be resolved. And MMA fans are left without the opportunity to watch the sport's highest-profile female fighter.
