Nov 6, 2008 - Genki Sudo is revisiting his roots in amateur wrestling as coach of Takusyoku University, reports Nikkansports.
Sudo, who wrestled for the college, returned on Wednesday to begin preparing the team for the All Japan College Tournament in Niigata, Japan on November 14.
Sudo will hold a press conference on November 13 to make an official announcement.
The same day, Sudo's first novel "Catcher in the Octagon" will be published in Japan. The book is about a high school student who starts wrestling and eventually debuts in the US.
