Still appearing surprised by his newfound stardom, Seth Petruzelli reflected in this interview on his win over Kimbo Slice.
I think the biggest fight EliteXC could promote for its next CBS show is a Petruzelli-Kimbo rematch, but Petruzelli suggested that he doesn't think Kimbo wants that fight.
"If he wants a rematch, I'll give it to him 100 percent," Petruzelli said. "I don't think he'll take it. ... I saw his eyes, I knew that he was scared, I knew that I had him beat mentally."
Petruzelli also said, "I'd like a tougher opponent," and he named Tito Ortiz. Unfortunately for Petruzelli, Ortiz won't be fighting any time soon. I think the chances are pretty good that Petruzelli-Kimbo II will happen some time next year.

Somebody tell Seth beating Kimbo does not mean he can dictate who he fights next.

I'm glad Kimbo got knocked out now maybe we can concentrate on important and meaningful matches. Plus even if Shamrock was going to fight in that match, I think he was going to throw it.

Seth is such a retard. Everyone knows this fight was bogus and he knows it. Elite XC is a joke as they are nothing more than a publicity stunt trying to make money on sponsors and merchandise than the fights. I love Seth's remark about Kimbo's street opponents. He said they throw arm punches and don't put their hips into them and that's why Kimbo can take those open punches to the face. Yeah, sure buddy. That jab you threw looks like you really put your hips into it while you were scared on that fence you puss.
I'm surprised he's not calling out Arlovski or Fedor ... I mean come on, the guy beat Kimbo that makes him pound for pound one of the best in the world, right?

They should do a rematch. At least the fight would last longer than 14 seconds I bet. Kimbo never said he was the best. He always said that he would fight or "bang" with anyone anytime. I don't understand why so many true Kimbo fans turned their backs. That's what's fucked up. But like he said "It's all good." It's not like he was claiming he could beat anyones ass that he fought. This is Professional Mixed-Martial-Arts, it's not a place to "knock the heads off some of these fools" nor do they have fights "in the school yard at 3:15" ... how could anyone be a true Kimbo fan? What has he done?
