UPDATE: Watch the video of Seth Petruzelli knocking Kimbo Slice out.EliteXC's big planned main event featuring Ken Shamrock against Kimbo Slice went belly up this evening, as Shamrock pulled out of the fight with an injury. So EliteXC officials acted fast and rearranged their fight card, assigning Seth Petruzelli as the new opponent for Kimbo.
Petruzelli had been scheduled to fight Aaron Rosa tonight, so he was already cleared and ready to fight. He just didn't know he was going to be fighting in the main event of what could be the most-watched mixed martial arts show in history.
Petruzelli is a little-known fighter with a professional MMA record of 9-4. If he improves to 10-4, everyone will know his name on Monday.

Very rude of Shamrock to push Kimbo, I say someone gave him what he deserved with the cut over the eye. Good to see the sport sticking together like that.
Why is shamrock training (sparring) right before the fight? This is ridiculous and seriously diminishes EliteXC's reputation as a legitimate MMA organization. I can hear Dana White roaring over this boondoggle, he couldn't have written a better script for his "competition" to look like a bunch of idiots.

Once again, Shamrock screws his fans and career. Seth is the man. Having worked out with his camp once, I can tell you that he is one determined individual. Seth came, he saw, he conquered.
I've never been a fan of Slice, but he too got a raw deal, by way of that ass Ken Shamrock. I don't know a single semi-pro that goes all out anytime within 72 hours of a big fight. I'm starting to have question whether this league is any competition at all to UFC.

WHY did Elite xc fix this fight and have Kimbo lose? This still doesnt make sence to me yet..Can anyone explain?? If you dont think this fight was a fake then you probably think that WWE is real too. Honestly look at the tape in SLO MO. There were Phantom punches that didnt even conect and Seth wasnt even really throwing them hard WWE would have made this look more real.. Very bazzar this wasnt Kimbo's fault. Elite made him do it this way!
I fight mma & I knew Kimbo was a joke he has know hand speed, not a good grappler he's never fought anyone good only thing he had was a good agent he's big & he looks the part but obviously he does'nt have what it takes cant believe they had a videogame with this guy in it! nuttin but hype!!! people need to educate themselves about fighters haha! big with no skills does'nt work anymore!
haha i have seen Kimbo lose twice now to two trained fighters...a brawler has very little chance to beat a trained fighter...
And everytime Kimbo loses the ghetto gallery whines that it wasnt his fault...
