EliteXC: Kimbo Slice to Fight Seth Petruzelli After Ken Shamrock Injury

EliteXC's big planned main event featuring Ken Shamrock against Kimbo Slice went belly up this evening, as Shamrock pulled out of the fight with an injury. So EliteXC officials acted fast and rearranged their fight card, assigning Seth Petruzelli as the new opponent for Kimbo.

Petruzelli had been scheduled to fight Aaron Rosa tonight, so he was already cleared and ready to fight. He just didn't know he was going to be fighting in the main event of what could be the most-watched mixed martial arts show in history.

Petruzelli is a little-known fighter with a professional MMA record of 9-4. If he improves to 10-4, everyone will know his name on Monday.
