Sep 24, 2008 - EliteXC heavyweight Kimbo Slice helped out David Blaine on the magician's latest special "David Blaine: Dive of Death" Wednesday night on ABC.
Blaine replicated trick that took the life of Harry Houdini, who claimed to be able to take any shot to his stomach, died because of a ruptured appendix.
For the special, Blaine stepped inside a practice cage where Slice trains, and took two punches to the stomach. But unlike Slice's past opponents, Blaine remained on his feet.
Blaine said he chose Slice because Slice is one of the few people he fears.
Slice fights Ken Shamrock Oct. 4 at "CBS-EliteXC: Saturday Night Fights 3" at the BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise, Florida.
