Georges St. Pierre: Fedor Emelianenko Is MMA's Best Pound-for-Pound Fighter

UFC President Dana White scoffs at those who say that Fedor Emelianenko is the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world, and UFC co-owner Lorenzo Fertitta says Fedor is irrelevant as long as he's not fighting in the UFC.

But one person in the UFC isn't buying into the company line: UFC welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre, who appeared on this week's edition of Inside MMA and was asked at the end of the program to name the best pound for pound MMA fighter in the word.

St. Pierre answered, "Fedor Emelianenko."

I actually disagree with St. Pierre -- Anderson Silva is atop my MMA Top 25 -- but I respect him for speaking his mind and not just saying what his UFC bosses would want him to say. Fedor is great, and it's silly to pretend otherwise.
