Clay Guida Wants to Fight at UFC 90 in Chicago, Nate Diaz Could Be His Opponent

Sep 18, 2008 - After beating Mac Danzig at UFC Fight Night yesterday, Clay Guida said he could be ready to fight again in less than six weeks, and he'd love to fight at UFC 90 in his hometown of Chicago:

"I'd love to get at least one more fight [this year]," Guida said. "If there's October 25 available back in my backyard, I'd love to be a part of it."
October 25 is UFC 90 at the Allstate Arena in the Chicago area, where Guida is from. If Guida were on that card, it would mean he would have just 37 days off between fights. That's an awfully short layoff, but if Guida says he can do it, it would be great to see him in the Windy City.

Guida also mentioned that he'd love to fight Nate Diaz: "I think we'd have the fight of the century," Guida said of Diaz, who was also victorious last night. "We have styles that complement each other very well. Whoever they put in front of me, I'm going to mow them down."

UPDATE: Here's another video of Guida after the fight:
